Conference Hotel

  • ALL conference blocks are booked. MTC is no longer able to secure additional rooms for the conference. The Courtyard Marriott is 100% full, even outside of the conference block. The Holiday Inn National Airport is your best bet. $299 for the 14th and $309 for 15-18th. 10% tax per night. Good luck.  04/06/07

Smoking Law for Washington D.C. beginning January 2: Beginning January 2, 2007, smoking will be banned from all D.C. bars and restaurants. This includes bars and restaurants in hotels.I don't know if Virginia has the same law.

  • Virginia does not yet have the same smoking ban that has been adopted in DC and nearby counties in Maryland. --Julian Clark
