Hi, I'm Michelle McLean on a study tour from Melbourne, Australia.  I am visiting selected public libraries down the east coast and mid north states of the US, to study their excellent virtual service to their users.

As part of this tour I am very excited to be attending and presenting a short paper at CIL 2007.  I am honoured to be sharing the podium with Karen Huffman on Monday afternoon, speaking on "Libraries Building Communities and Library 2.0 Initiatives in Australia."

I am very much looking forward to meeting more like minded librarians with a passion for virtual services.   Please be understanding if an excited Aussie comes charging up to you, wanting to chat - I'm not dangerous!
