Looking forward to my first Computers in Libraries conference - seeing/hearing about all sorts of exciting projects.

On Tuesday afternoon at Podcasting Possibilities for Library Instruction I will be presenting the initial findings from an empirical study to determine the feasibility of delivering library instruction via podcast/vodcast.  In addition to the evaluation and student feedback I’ll share the mechanics of creating a podcast, costs and time investment.

During the conference I would especially enjoy talking with folks of this nature:

  • Current or recent PhD students (especially if affiliated with UNC, Pitt, or UTK)
  • Podcasters
  • Anyone interested in digital libraries from an ethnographic perspective
  • Distance education librarians
